Holistic Women's Health
Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy:
Pelvic floor dysfunction is a disorder in the muscles and/or nerves of the pelvic floor, or in the surrounding skeletal structure. The pelvic floor muscles surround the urethra, rectum, vagina and prostate; therefore, if there is a dysfunction in these muscles it can result in urinary, bowel or sexual dysfunction in men, women and children.

Millions of Americans suffer from some type of pelvic floor problem, including incontinence, pain, and infertility. In fact, 1 in 5 will suffer from some type of pelvic dysfunction in their life time. And pelvic dysfunction is not just found in women who have had babies; nulliparous women and men can also suffer from pelvic dysfunction. If you suffer from any of the conditions listed, I want you to know that there is help! Leaking when you laugh, the inability to enjoy intercourse or spending a week on the couch each month due to pain are NOT normal and are NOT the price you pay for having babies or being female. (Yes, I heard a physician say that.)
YOU do not have to live this way.
I can help! I have taken hundreds of hours of specialty training in all areas of pelvic healthcare, movement education and pain sciences and I want to help you get back to your life.

Holistic Pelvic Physical Therapy takes a look at all of you, not just your pelvis and is about way more than performing Kegals! I assess your alignment, pain and tissue integrity. I watch you breathe and move. I assess muscle, fascia and organ tension inside and out. In short, we'll cover everything head to toe! We'll also cover the new pain science to help you understand why you have pain. Please set aside up to 2 hours for the initial evaluation. We'll determine the frequency of your therapy after the initial evaluation.

Your treatments will include:
-
A Home Exercise Program (moving is the best medicine!)
